Class Schedule

**Important** - To qualify for your certification you will need to be available for the live discussion classes, as well as have enough time to work your way through the self-study videos and exercises.

Live class attendance via Zoom

During these sessions, there will be live discussions and group exercises facilitated by your instructor via Zoom. Zoom is an easy to use online meeting and video conferencing software and you’ll receive full instructions about how to join your online class after you register.

Self-Study

Before each live class, you will receive some pre-recorded videos and exercises prepared by Brian Milner, Senior Vice President of Training and Coaching with Mountain Goat Software and is a Certified Scrum Trainer; to watch for that specific class. You will need to watch those videos and exercises before you attend the live class so you are prepared to discuss them.

To take this course, you should already have your Certified Product Owner certification as well as experience working as a Product Owner. This will give you the best level of knowledge to participate well and benefit most from the techniques you’ll learn.

To get your A-CSPO certification, you must have the following 3 requirements:

1. An active CSPO certification
2. 12 months of demonstrated Product Owner experience within the past 5 years
3. Participation and completion of the A-CSPO course

You don’t need 12 months of experience to take this class, as long as you have 12 months of experience by the time you apply to the Scrum Alliance for your certification.
