Large-Scale Scrum Certifications
Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) builds on top of the scrum principles, such as empiricism and cross-functional self-managing teams. It provides a framework for applying those principles at scale, not by adding more complexity on top of your existing organization, but by dramatically simplifying it so that you can be agile rather than do agile. It provides simple structural rules and guidelines on how to adopt scrum in large product development. As a scaling framework, LeSS is one of many approaches to expanding agile across an enterprise. LeSS courses pair well with Scrum Alliance Certified Agile Skills - Scaling 1 in which you'll learn how get the most out of your agile scaling investments.
Note: LeSS courses do not result in a certification from Scrum Alliance and are issued by The LeSS Company B.V. However, LeSS courses listed on the Scrum Alliance course search are provided by our highly-vetted Scrum Alliance providers. Participation also counts toward Scrum Education Units (SEUs) needed to renew your Scrum Alliance certifications.
Certified LeSS Practitioner (CLP) - Principles to Practices
The Certified LeSS Practitioner course is an in-depth course covering the LeSS principles, framework and rules, and guides. It provides essential information for adopting and improving LeSS to your product development group. Certified LeSS for Executives (CLE) - Principles, Organization, and Change
The Certified LeSS for Executives course is an in-depth course covering:
∙ LeSS principles
∙ Adoption
∙ The role of management
∙ What a senior manager needs to know and do to help.
The course includes stories on LeSS adoptions, exercises, and extensive Q&A to ensure we discuss the topics most of interest to the participants. This course is for people in management roles that support a LeSS effort. And since a change to LeSS involves both product management and R&D (or “business” and “IT”) together, senior representatives of both groups will want to attend together. Certified LeSS Basics (CLB) - Overview of LeSS
The Certified LeSS Basics course provides a one-day overview of the LeSS framework and some of the essential concepts. The course is for anyone who is involved in a LeSS effort. Basic scrum knowledge is expected and can be achieved by attending a Certified ScrumMaster® offering. For LeSS adoptions, we’d recommend to follow it up with a LeSS Practitioner course.
