About

Why Choose My Courses?

As a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and Coach (CTC), specializing in Scrum and Extreme Programming, I bring over two decades of experience working exclusively with Agile software development teams. Collaborating with industry giants like Microsoft, Capital One, and Oracle, I've honed my expertise since 2001, becoming one of the first 30 Scrum trainers globally.

But what truly sets my courses apart is the participant-centric approach. It's not about the trainer; it's about you. I believe in delivering essential principles, methods, and practices in a dynamic, engaging manner. Through a blend of exercises, games, and discussions, my courses ensure an educational yet enjoyable experience. You can find a list of all my currently scheduled Scrum courses here.

Experience in Traditional Project Management:

Before diving into Agile, I spent a decade as a software developer and project manager, handling Waterfall and RUP projects. Working with Java, Smalltalk, and more, I managed projects at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, delivering successful outcomes through a balance of client management and technical prowess.

Experience with Large Companies and Senior Management:

With a track record of guiding organizations through Agile transitions, including Capital One and TCPL, I understand the challenges of systemic change. From addressing CIO concerns to providing strategic insights, I bring hands-on experience to the table.

Expertise in Agile Technical Practices:

Rooted in my passion for code, I've delved into Agile technical practices since my days at Thoughtworks. While I may not code professionally anymore, I remain deeply immersed in Agile engineering concepts. Through years of learning and collaboration, I've embraced the art of the possible, elevating team performance.

Addressing Common Challenges:

Are you struggling with self-organization or poor code quality? Do you need guidance on delivering within sprint cycles? I help teams overcome these common hurdles. Through interactive gameplay, discussions, and real-world case studies, my courses empower participants to tackle Scrum challenges head-on.
