I'm co-founder and CTO of JIPP.IT GmbH, a Competence Center for Agile Software Development. I'm working as Agile Trainer and Coach and started to work with Agile Methods by 1998. Moving forward and working with teams I realised that Scrum is a good way to go, to get a predictable environment for software development. Together with my colleagues we are specializing on improving processes and structures by using agile methods and principles. Agile Transformations is one of the main activities. Scrum is my preferred method for internal and customer driven projects and even within organisational procedures.

I studied Telematic at the Technical University of Graz.

Owning certificates in traditional project management as well as a CSPO and CSM I know about both approaches and try to get the best out of both. Knowing both worlds gives me the background for supporting in the process of transition from traditional to agile processes. Working within different branches I realised that agile methods can be used also in areas which not directly relate to software development but contain a large amount of uncertain knowledge about the future. Therefore it is always an interesting challange to apply agile methods to areas where they haven't been used before.
