Niki Kohari

Hi I'm Niki Kohari, an executive and leadership coach from Raleigh, NC. As a coach, I help people reach their personal and professional potential. I've always been passionate about connecting people with their inner spark, so I help my clients figure out who they want to be and break through anything that might be holding them back from getting there. We design the future and set goals together, and I challenge and support them as they work on the most important issues in their lives. I operate as an objective sounding board and point of accountability for my clients. I use a process that encourages those I work with to direct their energy in a more constructive way, which research has shown increases satisfaction in several areas of their life, not just at work. Not only does the process create great feelings, but it also creates better habits and helps people try tasks outside of their comfort zone. The new thoughts, experiences, and emotions actually create new neural pathways in the brain, and this ensures that the results last. I specialize in working with executives, managers, and high-potentials in software and agile companies, especially as it relates to their leadership, innovation, communication, and team-building skills. I focus on both strategy and execution and always take the context, culture, and goals of the organization into consideration. I also enjoy supporting entrepreneurs as the build their businesses. Because of my background in I/O and cognitive psychology, entrepreneurial and acquisition experience, and knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies, I understand the issues that modern leaders face.
