Troy Beyer
Troy believes the real value of Agile is in experiencing the principles through action and learning. He co-founded Beyer Consulting Group, LLC with this idea in mind, creating an organization that focuses on delighting customers and values learning.
Leveraging a global perspective and an innate talent for strategic planning, Troy finds synergies across teams and functions to increase organizational value. He has the ability to speak in the languages of both business and technology, and bridges the gap between the “why” and “how” so frequently found in our modern workplaces.
Troy spent over 15 years in Fortune 500 companies, both managing technical and functional experts and contributing as an expert himself. He has invested his knowledge, skills, and passions to companies such as J.P. Morgan, Lockheed Martin, and UBS AG to realize increased corporate value in each venture.
Troy’s knowledge areas include strategic planning, agile organizational transformation, agile coaching, agile executive coaching, project management, software development methodology improvement, and production support operations. His Project Management experience includes change management, technical implementations, software development, governance modeling, & process re-design using Agile methodologies.
Troy holds certifications from PMI, as both an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and a Project Management Professional (PMP), and is also a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM). He believes in continuous improvement and lifelong education, and shares that passion through workshops and training classes.
