Rafael Sabbagh

I dedicate my career to driving business agility and digital transformations for companies ranging from startups to multinationals. With a Master's in Business and a Computer Engineering degree, my involvement in product development and management has been deep since the mid-2000s. I am a co-founder of three companies: K21, Nower, and wBrain, and I served on the Scrum Alliance Board of Directors from 2015 to 2017.

As a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) with the Scrum Alliance and an Accredited Kanban Trainer (AKT) from Kanban University, I have personally trained over 10,000 professionals. My consulting and training engagements span over 20 countries, including the USA, Brazil, Spain, Peru, Colombia, India, Hong Kong, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland, and the UK. These global experiences have given me a broader perspective on knowledge work practices and the challenges faced by different cultures and communities, which allows me to identify key challenges and provide tailored solutions.

My work focuses on empowering individuals to transform their careers and assisting teams and organizations in becoming more efficient and effective, with a strong emphasis on delivering value faster.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, I frequently share insights at international events and major agile conferences around the world.

In 2013, I authored the first book about Scrum in Portuguese, which has become a well-respected reference in Brazil. Its updated third edition was released in early 2022 and is also available in English.
