Julie Chickering brings hands-on experience and practical insights to every training and coaching session. Her students consistently praise her pragmatic approach, strong collaboration skills, and sharp sense of humor, making the journey through Scrum both effective and enjoyable. Julie's primary goal is to equip her students with actionable knowledge they can immediately apply in their current or future roles, going beyond theory while keeping business objectives at the forefront. The vast majority of CSM students pass the exam on their first try with high scores. Julie believes that Scrum, Lean, and other Agile practices have immense potential to drive cultural change, enhance business agility, and deliver breakthrough business results. Julie began her Agile journey in 2004, learning directly from early Agile thought leaders, and continues to evolve through ongoing learning. With a proven track record of leading successful Agile transformations across a wide range of industries and organizations. She is committed to paying forward the knowledge she has gained, helping others on their own Agile learning journeys. Julie Chickering is a former president and board member of the Agile Project Leadership Network (APLN) and holds several certifications, including Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and Project Management Professional (PMP). Before founding JC Agile Consulting, she spent nine years as an Agilist with CA Technologies (formerly Rally Software) and served as an internal coach at Travelocity.
