Heather Foster

Heather began her Graphic and Web Design / Marketing career at Parallax Design Group in Auburn when she was 16 years old. At 18 years old, she started her own business, Eloquence Web & Graphic Design in Auburn, CA which she owned and operated for 10 years.

At 19 years old, she worked part-time with Rebecca Martinez, president of Blue Cat Studio in Colfax, and interned under her 25+ years of experience (at that time) in graphic design. By 20, Heather was the youngest teacher to train graphic and web design classes at Placer Adult School and Sierra College Adult School for everything from Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Photoshop, to web design basics and e-commerce websites. It was at that same time, that she obtained her AA in Liberal Arts & Art & Humanities at Sierra College.

In 2006, Heather worked for 3 years was the Graphic Designer for Image Awareness Wellness Institute, and created all print and web marketing for nutritional training and membership support and networking to local GNLD small business owners under Jim & Lucille's direction.

In January 2010, Heather decided to further her career by becoming Pinney Insurance's first Graphic Designer, and by 2012, she moved up to the Marketing Manager position.

Heather worked one-on-one with her team on a daily basis to provide insurance agents all over the nation tools such as automated e-mails, responsive websites, graphic design for print materials, training products, social media integration, training tools and tips, press releases, content for e-mails, content for social media, scripts for videos, and all graphics and content support for huge campaigns.

In October of 2014, Heather was hired on the Digital Marketing team at Principal Funds, which merged with Principal Global Investors in January 2015. Heather worked as a CSM for the Digital Marketing Team, and also works as part of the scrum team and works on everything from updating the website, social media and other digital updates to several websites for multiple departments of Principal Global Investors.

While Heather's specialty is graphic and web design for print, she is efficient at any small or large Marketing campaign and is efficient at getting the job done, on time, and typically exceeding the expectations of quality and continuity. With a unique level of trades & experience, Heather has what it takes to manage any team and create beautiful Marketing pieces that flow across all mediums.

To date, Heather is owner / creative director for her business, H. Foster Designs, a creative / design and marketing sole proprietership in Auburn, California and freelances with clients all over the globe.
