Henry Wong

Henry is an agile practitioner, coach, trainer and an instructor dedicated to helping teams implement Agile philosophy to successfully deliver products and get results. With 30+ years in the IT industry, Henry leverages his real-world experience to create a hands-on practical classroom environment.

Starting as a software engineer in the telecommunications industry at AT&T, Henry implemented workflow management and order management systems before moving to the financial industry. Henry has served in many roles including software developer, business analyst, product owner, tester, release manager, and agile coach. He is able to draw on his diverse background to empower students working in a variety of corporate roles.

Henry has a passion for coaching and truly cares about his teams’ success. His unique style of using humor, real life examples and metaphor help teams clearly understand complex concepts. During his spare time, he creates training/coaching materials that are animated to enhance learning outcomes (a good hobby during a pandemic).
