Grey (Yinjing) Shen
About
Grey (Yinjing) Shen got her Ph.D. in Human Sciences & Education with specialization in Child, Youth and Family Studies and a M.S. in Child Development/Early Childhood Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before that, she received her B.S. in Psychology from Fudan University in Shanghai. She was a postdoctoral researcher in the Cognition, Culture, and Development Lab at the University of Texas-Austin. Her research interests include Creativity in Mathematics, Reggio Emilia Educational Approach (Italian), Culture and Learning Belief, Parenting Style and Teacher Education, and Scientific Reasoning. She has translated several books and published articles in academic journals. Currently she is a Product Owner at Kids & Teens Global Product Development Dept. at EF Education First. She serves on the education consultant panel and on behalf of EF, she has given education lectures and published parent-facing articles. Grey is delighted to be back in her hometown Shanghai. At weekends, she enjoys vocalizing, sketching, and improve.
