Easyjet is one of the largest low-cost airlines in Europe, has its own customizable application developed in Microsoft technologies to handle all day to day activities (Booking, check in, reports etc…).The complete system is developed on 3 tire architecture UI(Web, Console app, B2B), middle tire (APIs) and database on various cutting edge technologies.
As a founder member of easyJet services in Sopra India I was fully responsible for development of Reservation, bookings, B2B API & Departure control systems.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead multiple Agile teams, which included easyJet core reservations systems, Departure control systems and B2B partner APIs.
- Played the role of Scrum Master for multiple teams offshore.

Tulip
The billing system maintains the details of postpaid and prepaid SIP customers. works on a billing server, a soft switch (iVoice) and a PSTN gateway (CISCO). FUNK radius was used for AAA. User can either originate call from PSTN phone or a SIP phone. The call originating from PSTN phone would be terminating at PSTN gateway and call originating from SIP phone would be terminating at the soft switch. Routing was be done by iVoice for IP to PSTN calls. Billing system is used for creating service, charge plan, rate plans, Invoicing and accounting.
VSAT-Billing
Shin Satellite is one of the Asia's leading satellite operators. Shinsat project intended to provide the various value added services to its customers like high speed Data, Voice and Video transmission on Broadband as an alternate for sluggish Dial up mode. Some of the salient features of the Solution are: Real time integration with IP Star Mediation System for Bandwidth Provision, SLA based automatic Discount Complete Payment and Accounting module, Support for different Services like Data, Voice and Video transmission, Complete Trouble Ticket, Enquiry Management, Multiple level of Customer Hierarchy and Invoice messaging at different levels.
Precall
PreCall is a complete prepaid solution for VOIP. It works with industry leading media gateways and soft switches. The solution manages all aspects of the prepaid service- right from the generation of calling cards to their distribution. The solution takes care of the prepaid service through real-time integration with network switches for service activation, authentication and debiting the account balance of users The solution also provides a Web interface for customers to subscribe to services online and review their account and usage details in real time. Targeted at VoIP, Broadband, SIP, pre-paid content, pre-paid wireless, e-business services or any other pre-paid service providers, Precall provides flexibility, helping users assure revenues and quickly launch new services.
Intelligent Network Services Billing
IN billing module provide both pre-paid and post-paid services. Bulk calls with customized billing are handled with customized validation and rating with respect to each services. Invoices are generated on the basis of service, line and customer varying on the billing cycle defined. IN service which provides a framework to create various services in a centralized place independent of the switch. Subscriber connected to any type of exchange using existing telephones can use these IN Services. Recently held show, “Sony Indian Idol” had used the IN (VOT) service to choose the winner.
