Elena Astilleros is a humble servant leader and cheerleader for technological and innovative breakthroughs. With experience in digital solutions, web applications and Scrum development, Astilleros provides users with exceptional service in ensuring that one’s high tech needs are met.
A product of California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, transformational leadership training and Lyssa Adkin's CSM course :) Astilleros fiercely stands that innovation and technology can be used in infinitely creative and effective ways. She has used Scrum to bring well designed solutions to life.
Astilleros’s currently leads the Agile Office at Beachbody, training Agile coaches to enhance their transformational expertise. Prior, she served at Toyota Motor Sales, rolling out Scrum to pilot teams under the Office of the CIO. Prior to Toyota, she quite proudly served as product owner for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund's flagship applications: MentorMatch and SASSY, the Scholarship Application System selected by the Gates foundation to support them in future scholarship programs.
Furthermore, Astilleros has served as a key individual in facilitating technological solutions for MySpace and Sony DADC. Elena served on the pilot team to roll out Scrum at MySpace. Astilleros used that experience and rolled out and implemented Scrum in all future work locations, including providing private products for Barbie, UC Berkeley, the United Nations/World Expo, USO and the Waldorf Astoria through the website OurHistree.
