Large-scale Scrum (LeSS) is an Agile Product Development scaling/descaling approach for multiple teams that innovate Business value and growth in organisations with Products.

LeSS builds on top of the Scrum principles, such as empiricism and cross-functional self-managing teams, and provides two frameworks for applying them at scale. It provides simple structural rules and guidelines for adopting Scrum in multi-team product development.

The Certified LeSS Basics course provides a 1-day (2 half days *4 hours each) overview of the rules, principles, guiding practices, experiments and frameworks, which are the essential concepts for doing LeSS.

Can I participate without prior scaling/descaling or LeSS experience? 

Absolutely! This course is designed for everyone, whether you’re completely new to scaling or looking to build on existing knowledge. All you need is a willingness to learn, engage, and take part in interactive exercises.

How should I prepare for this course?

Come in with an open mind to be challenged and the willingness to work with your fellow learners. Also READ READ READ the course joining instructions. Refresh your Scrum knowledge by going back and reading the Scrum Guide and then also the LeSS Scrum Guide

What about exams and certifications?

There is no exam :) Certification will happen once you complete the course and ensure you have participated in attending on camera for the course duration.

What software or tools do I need to attend?

You’ll need access to Zoom and Mural. Make sure to install the latest Zoom desktop/laptop software (no web or mobile or tablet versions), have a stable internet connection, and a working microphone and webcam. Don’t forget, cameras must stay on during the course. Ensure you have a powerful enough PC otherwise your machine will slow down
